Pneumatically driven pressure intensifiers are an alternative to smaller hydraulically driven pressure intensifiers and hand spindle pumps. Liquids or gases up to 16,000 bar can be pumped.
The advantage over hydraulically driven pressure intensifiers is that no hydraulic power pack is required. The drive works with a maximum of 7 bar compressed air. The pressure can be controlled manually by a precision pressure regulator or automatically by a proportional valve.
Pneumatically driven pressure intensifiers do not require electrical energy and are suitable for explosion-proof systems.
Larger stroke volumes are possible in multiple stages. Multi-stage means that several pneumatic pistons are placed one behind the other. The parts in contact with the medium are made of stainless steel. The pressure intensifiers can alternatively be supplied with 1, 2, 4, 6 or 8 pistons. The diameter of the high-pressure plungers is adapted to the power of the drive.
Double gland nuts allow a compact, stable connection of two high pressure components.
One double gland nut is provided with a right-hand and a left-hand thread. The short connection contains a loose tube that does not rotate when tightened. The short connection is screwed equally into both parts and pulls them together. If both parts have a right-hand thread, the version with the “right-left adapter” is used.
Frequent disassembly of the sealing cone and improper assembly can lead to wear of the inner and pipe cone. For reworking or initial machining, we offer one reworking tool for each cone.
Our integrated spring package allows even less experienced users to cut evenly. The quality and design of our cutting blades and countersinks promise cones with a high surface quality.
The inner cones of the high-pressure connections are occasionally damaged by overtightening or frequent tightening. In many cases, these damages can be reworked with the cone finishing tool.
Hydraulically actuated valves are designed for remote operation like pneumatically actuated valves. Since our customers work with different hydraulic drive and operating pressures, we design the actuators according to the existing criteria, whereby we assume standard diameters.
